Booking information
Please give exact dates and alternative dates, if possible, number of persons and any special requests you may have.
(Please note that charters usually takes place Saturday-Saturday). We confirm your
request by offering you an option which will be automatically cancelled
after five days if you do not do the booking.
If you accept the offer you will receive five copies of the
contract
named "MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR SELF - SAIL CHARTER", approved by the Greek Ministry of Merchant Marine
together with our charter invoice. The contract has
international validity and secures your money.
Please return to us by mail:
A. Four copies of the contract signed by you
B. Crew list
C. Copies of sailing experience certificates
D. 50% of the total charter fee
The balance of the total charter fee should be paid 30 days prior to
the embarkation day.
Deposit
The yacht is fully insured, but we
request you to pay a refundable security deposit at the time of embarkation
to our base representative. The security deposit is to cover any minor damages
that are not covered by the insurance of the yacht. At disembarkation the
base representative will examine the yacht and refunds the deposit to you if no
damages are found.
The following forms of payment are accepted:
Travellers check, cash and bank certified checks.

Embarkation and disembarkation
Check-in at the yacht begins at
17:00 local time on the first day of the charter. Check-out takes place
09:00 local time at the yacht on the last day of the charter. During the
check-in procedure the skipper and the co-skipper will get a briefing from
our base support team about all the needed documents, equipment, inventories and
emergency procedures.
Sailing licenses
Two original certificates are
required proving sailing experience. If you do not have licenses, you
will be asked upon embarkation to sign a declaration issued from the port
authorities, stating your sailing experience and capability.
Included in the price:
- Gas.
- Linen and towels.
- Service and assistance from our base support team during the charter period.
Not included in the price:
- Petrol. The yacht is delivered with full tank, and
you refill the tank before you deliver the yacht.
- Marinas fees for the charter period.
Cancellation
If you cancel
your charter holidays more than 60 days before the embarkation day we
keep 30% of the total charter fee.
If you cancel 59-30 days before the embarkation day we keep 50% of the
total charter fee.
If you cancel 29-0 days before the embarkation day we keep 100% of the
total charter fee.
