It so happened that both the recruiters happened to think of the same job opening for him with a hospitality corporation. He told one recruiter that he would be the first submitting his name to that company; but secretly, he thought he would improve his chances, by doing the same with the other headhunter. The two happened to meet each other on some networking event for job recruiters, and they compared notes, and found out. Job recruiters take it particularly badly, when their time is wasted.
